The Academic Appointment Different Voices in Smithsonian Excellence (AADVISE (t)) Executive Council offers recommendations about policies related to SI academic appointments. This group is formed from a wide range of representatives from across the Smithsonian and meets approximately once per month.

Ideas about how to strengthen SI academic programs are offered to and solicited from the larger Smithsonian Academic Appointment Council on a regular basis with the intent of facilitating strong communication about SI academic appointment programs across the Institution.
