The Sara Roby Fellowship in Twentieth-Century American Realism
The Sara Roby Fellowship is awarded to a scholar whose research topic is in the area of twentieth-century American realism. The terms of the fellowship as well as the application guidelines and deadlines are the same as for the Smithsonian Institution Fellowship Program.
Eligibility: Pre- and postdoctoral scholars researching twentieth-century American realism who wish to work with Smithsonian American Art Museum advisors.
Application: Only one application is necessary for all Smithsonian American Art Museum fellowships; applicants listing a primary advisor/supervisor at the museum will automatically be considered in all relevant award categories.
