SAAM will be hosting 16 new fellows in the 2017-2018 academic year, adding to their growing list of hundreds of scholars who have studied for senior, predoctoral, or postdoctoral fellowships at the institution. This year’s fellows will be researching a variety of topics, ranging in time period from the 19th century to modern era, and encompassing themes of abstract art, currency, three-dimensional art, and ancient Rome.
