UCSB African Art Scholar Sylvester Ogbechie

University of California at Santa Barbara (UCSB) Art Historian Sylvester Okwunodu Ogbechie was recently awarded a Smithsonian Institution Senior Fellowship.

During his fellowship based at the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art (NMAfA) Ogbechie will be looking at the historiography of modern and contemporary African art.
