Smithsonian Tropical Research Center (STRI) Research Associate and professor at University of Southern California-Berkeley Robert Dudley and several other Smithsonian experts have recently answered some of the public’s most pressing questions on science on the Smithsonian Magazine website.
Questions like: “Why have the storms in Jupiter’s Great Red Spot raged continuously for 150 years or more?” and “Ozone up high is considered beneficial, yet near the ground it is considered a hazard. Why the difference?” will no longer be mysteries to the average science enthusiast.
