One Crab-tivating Internship: SERC Intern Caroline Kanaskie

Intern Caroline Kanaskie had a water-ful time applying what she’s studied in environmental science at Dickinson College to environmental research at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (SERC).

According to Caroline, interning at SERC is dynamic with interns finding themselves “in the water one day and in the lab the next.” Boasting a whopping 2,680 acres of wetlands and forest, SERC offers interns like Caroline an experience like no otter.
