Starry Eyed Interns

On Friday, July 17, the National Air and Space Museum (NASM) hosted an intern event that was out of this world!

Interns from across the Smithsonian attended a private intern event at NASM’s Albert Einstein Planetarium.

Technician Sean O’Brien taught interns about the planetarium, including the history and mechanics. He presented a live Digital Sky show and played the planetarium program To Space & Back. “To Space & Back takes you on an incredible journey from the far reaches of our known universe to our own planet and shows how the technology that transports us through space is paving the way for the devices and apps we use every day.”
