POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The successful candidate will work with Dr. S. Joseph Wright and Dr. Stuart Davies, to synthesize existing data on the water relations of tropical forest plants and to collect new data to relate individual performance to rainfall gradients in central Panama. The planned research is part of NGEE - Tropics, a multidisciplinary, multi-institutional, DOE-funded project seeking to improve the representation of tropical forest ecosystems in Earth System Models.
