NMNH in USA Today
Mary Sangrey, head of academic services at National Museum of Natural History (NMNH), was quoted in an article in USA Today on the benefits of short term internships.
NMNH offers one-week internships for students from anywhere in the world studying in any field.
Mary Sangrey said the museum’s internships range from science research to public affairs and allow students to explore career options before making a long-term commitment to a summer program and allow for networking.
Short term internships, like ones done over college winter break, offer an opportunity to get real world experience while not tying up a whole semester interning.
