Smithsonian Signs Agreement with Whitworth University

The Smithsonian Institution recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Whitworth University, a private, residential, liberal arts institution located amongst the tall pines of Spokane, Washington.

This agreement facilitates Whitworth students coming to the Smithsonian to do internships. Initially, it will bring five students from Whitworth in January 2015. The agreement regarding internships is the only one of its kind between the Smithsonian-at-large and a university in the state of Washington.
