The Afterlife of Exhibits

Have you ever wondered after the lights go out and the temporary exhibits come down? Elisabeth Warsinske is an intern in the Home and Community Life division at the National History of American Museum (NMAH). She recently wrote about her experience changing the temporary exhibit “History Highlights” and taking down the Girl Scouts collection. In Warsinke’s recent blog post, she explains how displaying objects work and what happens to objects after they are taken down.
