On Tuesday, April 16, Kenneth Hartvigsen, NMAH Predoctoral Fellow, presented at the weekly NMAH Colloquium. The talk was entitled, “Sight-Reading American Song: Illustrations on Popular Sheet Music from the Civil War to World War I.” Kenneth is a Ph.D. Candidate from Boston University in the History of Art and Architecture Department.
