National Air and Space Museum Center for Earth and Planetary Studies (CEPS) Fellow Gareth Morgan is leading a team of scientists to map the depth and scale of channels buried under the surface of Mars.

The findings, recently published in the magazine Science, show these channels to be much deeper than originally thought, suggesting they might have been created by underground reservoirs.

You can read more about the discoveries here.
