Alex has been a Program Assistant at OFI since August 2016. He received a B.A. in Political Science from Washington College. Prior to the Smithsonian, Alex was a Program Manager for Best Buddies International, a nonprofit dedicated to creating equal opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Alex also served as a City Year AmeriCorps volunteer in Washington D.C. where he tutored 1st grade students in English and Math.
During the summers, Alex is a part-time Segway Tour Guide, and he is fascinated by historical facts and trivia. In his spare time, Alex enjoys running, going to the movies, and spending time with friends.
