Julie has been a Program Assistant at OFI since September 2014. She studied English and Philosophy at UC Berkeley, and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Indonesia (2012-2014). While in the Peace Corps, she taught ESL, supported youth development programs, and consumed mass quantities of nasi pecel. She also did a brief stint at the Scripps Research Institute, working in a neuroscience lab.
