In this unit Amy became a resource on visitor information on all of the Smithsonian’s museums and research centers as well as volunteer program management. She has accepted numerous invitations from cultural Institutions throughout the U.S and abroad to present on volunteer and museum program management.

Amy holds a M.A. in Psychology from Seattle University and a B.A. in Psychology and Fine Art from the College of Idaho. She moved to the Washington DC area in 1999 and started her career at the Smithsonian as a volunteer in the Archives of American Art.

Amy enjoys downhill skiing and recently promised her father to pick up fly-fishing again so all those years he spent teaching her the activity are not wasted.
